HIPAD manufactures glass clamps that hold fixed glass panels in frameless shower screens, glass partitions and balustrades. A glass clamp is a small metal bracket that grips the edge of a fixed glass panel between two plates, with rubber or PVC gaskets in between. It fixes the panel to a wall, a floor, a post or another panel. Unlike a shower door hinge, a glass clamp does not rotate. It only holds glass that stays still.
In a frameless shower, clamps hold the fixed screen or return panel, and hinges carry the door. The angle in a clamp's name, 90°, 135° or 180°, is the angle between the two surfaces it joins. Glass clamps are also called shower glass clips, shower screen clamps (Australia), glass brackets, glass fixing clamps oppure clip muro vidrio (spagnolo).

Choose a clamp by what the panel fixes to (a wall, the floor or another panel) and the angle between the two surfaces. The plan views below show each clamp seen from above.
The standard clamp for frameless shower screens and bath screens. It is available in 0°, 90°, 135° and 180°, single-sided or double-sided, and in T-form.
Round-head and oval clamps give a softer look for shower screens, glass partitions and display glass. They come in 0°, 90°, 135° and 180°, single or double.
D-shaped clamps fix glass to posts and walls in balustrades and partitions. Flat-back versions mount on walls and square posts. Curved-back versions fit round posts.
Clamps with a flat base hold the bottom edge of a fixed panel on a floor, shower tray or ledge. They can be used instead of a U-channel where a lighter look is wanted.
Larger zinc alloy bodies with rounded corners suit 10–14 mm glass in partitions and heavy shower screens. They are available in 90° and 180°, single or double.

Risposta breve: a typical fixed shower panel up to about 1000 mm wide and 2000 mm tall uses two wall clamps on the wall edge and two floor clamps (or a U-channel) along the bottom. Panels wider than 1000 mm, or free edges longer than about 1200 mm, need a support bar at the top.

A glass clamp holds a fixed glass panel and does not move. A shower hinge carries a door and rotates. In a frameless shower, clamps hold the fixed screen and hinges hang the door, usually in the same finish.
A fixed shower panel up to about 1000 mm wide and 2000 mm tall usually needs two wall clamps and two floor clamps or a U-channel. Wider or taller panels need a third clamp on each edge and a support bar at the top.
Depending on the model, HIPAD glass clamps fit 8–10 mm, 8–12 mm, 10–12 mm or 12–14 mm tempered glass. Standard shower clamps fit 8–12 mm glass.
Some clamp models use a through-bolt and need a hole drilled before tempering. Others grip the glass by clamping pressure only. We will tell you which applies to each model you choose.
304 stainless steel is the best all-round choice for showers. 201 is a lower-cost option for dry interiors. Brass suits gold and bronze finishes, and zinc alloy gives large rounded bodies at low cost for thick partition glass.
Yes. D-clamps and heavy-duty square clamps are used on stair and balcony balustrades. For railing systems, check local building codes for glass type and load requirements.
