What Is Shower Door Hardware?

A frameless shower is built from tempered glass panels with no surrounding frame, so every panel is held by metal fittings. Scharnieren carry the door and let it swing. Glasklemmen or a U-channel hold the fixed panels to walls, floor and each other. On sliding showers, rollers on a rail or tube replace hinges. A support bar keeps tall panels rigid, and handles or knobs en seals finish the door.
